Leonardo Basaldua

Leonardo Daniel Basaldua, 24 years old, originally from El Salvador, was born in Los Angeles. His true profession is being a thief and a compulsive gambler. He frequents airports, seeking places where beautiful and wealthy women gather. He follows them, studies their movements, and then sets his plan of deceit in motion.

Leonardo presents himself as a successful businessman, always well-dressed and confidently talking about his supposed business achievements, which are actually thefts through flipping house schemes. He boasts a luxurious lifestyle with stories of travel and properties, gaining the trust and admiration of his victims. Once he identifies a victim with enough money, he drastically changes his story.

He starts by telling tales of suffering, saying his father has cancer, a disease that has devastated him. This story becomes even more tragic when it is revealed that Leonardo never knew his father. As his relationship with the victim progresses, he claims he lost everything in a deal with a drug dealer in Miami. He explains that he invested all his money in buying houses, and the drug dealer took all his cash, leaving him with nothing....
